What’s good about this feature?

1. Privacy & security protection - it prevents unauthorized individuals from seeing your activity. This safeguards sensitive information during a session, especially in public or shared spaces.

2. Seamless remote access - it allows uninterrupted access to the system, offering a secure and distraction-free environment during remote sessions.

By enabling this feature, the remote screen stays off throughout the session, making sure that no one else can view the screen.

 

Before you begin: 

Please first complete the prerequisite setup described in the link. Then, continue with the settings in rview.com.  

 

[How to enable Remote Screen Lock from Company Settings]

 

1. Log in to rview.com > Go to Preferences > Company Settings > Remote Screen Security Settings

 

  • Screen turns off itself when RemoteView is connected (Remote PC) 

Choose how to apply the screen lock on a remote PC.

 

1)  Use All : Apply screen lock to all remote PCs.

2)  User Setting : Use the same screen lock settings on each Agent.

3)  Optional : Use the same screen lock settings based on the Agent assigned to each user.

 

 

  • Set lock method : Monitor Off / Driver / Black Layer

Choose how to apply the lock method.

 

1)  Use All : Apply the same lock method to all remote PCs.

2)  User Setting : Use the same lock method on each Agent.

 

[How to enable Remote Screen Lock from My Settings]

The following conditions must be met before setup in My Settings.

  1. Log in with admin ID > Go to Preferences > Company Settings > Remote Screen Security Settings.
  • Screen turns off itself when RemoteView is connected (Remote PC) - Optional
  • Set lock method - User Setting

From My Settings, follow the steps below to enable screen lock.

① Go to the Remote PC tab.

② Right-click on the Agent or mobile device to set screen lock.

③ Click Properties > Go to the Agent Option tab > Remote Screen Security Settings > Choose an option in the Set Lock Method > Click Apply.
